How I Started Writing #4

Naturally, the first thing you need to have when you start writing is to have an idea and then develop the idea into a story. I can tell you that I did not have my entire store finished when I actually began writing. But I did have an idea of what the story was going to tell. My first tasks was to find some interesting facts to use as a base for the story. For me, finding facts that would fit into a story idea began with extensive internet searches. I looked for events, unusual facts, historical reports or just something interesting. Sometimes I saw something on TV, radio, newspaper, or even on Facebook. I write put them down in my notes on my phone and then research each item. Yes hours of research and reading. In my next post I will tell you about my first search and how it became my first chapter.
